Alonnie Celestine

Alonnie Celestine, a junior from Lake Charles, LA, is pursuing a major in Public Health with a minor in Political Science. Leadership has been a guiding force throughout her life, making her involvement with the Student Government Association (SGA) a natural progression in her college career. Before serving as the SGA Chief of Staff, Alonnie was the Treasurer for the Class of 2026 during her freshman and sophomore years. In her current role, she manages the SGA Cabinet, supports the President, and works diligently to ensure the success of all SGA members.

Alonnie's leadership reaches far beyond SGA. She is a 2024-2025 White House HBCU Scholar and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also serves as Treasurer for Vincent's Vault Food Pantry, is an E Pluribus UNUM Fellow, a Student Organizer for Advocates for Youth, and an ambassador for Beyond the Sheets. Alonnie believes in the limitless potential of every individual and strives to inspire those around her to embrace this belief and reach for their highest goals.
