Whereas, the Student Government Association President has the constitutional authority to appropriate funds for all branches, councils, and recognized student organizations (hereinafter referred to as “RSOs”) within the Student Government Association, including those in the College of Pharmacy (hereinafter referred to as “COP”);
Whereas, the Physician Assistant program did not receive a partial budget, nor a full budget on time due to miscommunication of where their funds are held and how much they would be given;
Now, therefore, I, Chase Patterson, President of the Student Government Association at Xavier University of Louisiana, in accordance with the SGA Constitution, hereby issue the following directive to become effective immediately:
1) The PA Program will receive $20 flat per full-time student and $15 per part-time student to be held under the College of Pharmacy’s budget.
2) To ensure that the Physician Assistant program is properly funded in
perpetuity, this Executive Order will permanently remain in effect and in full force unless it is modified, amended, rescinded, or superseded by the SGA President, which must be done by an Executive Order.
